Sobering Thought...

So we're talking briefly about airline safety (we'd gotten off on a tangent) in class tonight, and the teacher brings up the point that you're more likely to die or be injured in an automobile accident than in an airplane crash. Yeah, everyone knows that. He then said, "actually I believe you are also more likely to be injured in an automobile accident than if you were a soldier in Iraq."
