The Ides of March

Somewhere an old soothsayer must have said, "Beware the ides of March... and the rise of gas prices to over two bucks."

Sure enough, this morning the gas station on my way to work said $2.16 for unleaded. I kept saying it wasn't going to happen, wasn't going to happen... they say it's gonna skyrocket every summer and it never does... until now.

And I'm on E. Great.

But .. but .. gas prices can't be that high. All the protesters along Providence and Broadway had signs saying the war in Iraq was all about oil. So gas should be way cheap now, since Bush has had control of all of Iraq's oil fields since the war ended and has been raping that poor country of its natural resources. Man, those protesters were out there all the time, waving their little signs around .. they must have known what they were talking about ..

I didn't realize I'd have to go and get a friggin' bank loan to fill up my tank today. I'm on 'E' as well. AUGH!!! Stupid gas prices.

I can't believe all of the people on the website openly admitting to habitually using the illegal narcotic known as 'E.' Gosh. All you Easterners need to quit yer bitchin' about your $2.16 gas prices. It's $2.40 here in Nevada!
