Florence Prep

If I were to put together our Florence itinerary, this is what I'd do (not having really any clue how long we're going to be there or how long these things actually take to do):

1) The Accademia. Gotta see the David. And anything else that place has lying around, but we won't spend too much time.

2) Il Duomo. The most recognizeable landmark of Florence...well you just gotta see the inside, and the views of the city from the top.

3) Chiesa di Santa Croce. Michelangelo and Galileo are buried here. Cool.

4) Ponte Vecchio. Oldest and most famous bridge in Florence, gotta walk across and look at all the little shops that line it.

5) Piazzale Michelangelo. The view of the city from the top of this hill is reportedly unmissable, especially at sunset.

Hopefully with those must-sees, we'll still have time to taste some Tuscan wine and visit a café or two, and possibly shop for some of those leather goods Italy is supposedly famous for...
