Knowledge in Practice

I got to put my fam trip knowledge into practice today... someone called wanting to book a hotel in the La Défense region of Paris! I looked up both the hotels I stayed in there, wanting to recommend them, but they were too pricey. I ended up going with another hotel from the same group (Accor) but cheaper. And I got to describe the La Défense area to her ("a little quirky, but definitely interesting") and where it was and stuff. Told her I just got back from a trip there in the last two weeks. I felt SO cool. :)
