Shrubbery.

Ah, shrubbery. It is leafy and green. And when you cut it just right, you can build a nice little path running through the center. It can also be cut into shapes such as dinosaurs and people. And it looks nice with little mini-fences running alongside it. I like shrubbery with little pink and white flowers. Shrubbery is fun; just go ask Roger the Shrubber. I bet that guy NEVER gets tired of shrubbery!

Tigg's Questions

Tanya asked me some questions; here they are with my responses... (thanks tweets!) :)

1) What are you reading?
Leave it to you to ask this one... ;) Well, uh.. I'm sorta re-reading a somewhat dorky and rather formulaic fantasy series that Jason got me started on... it's by David Eddings and it's called The Mallorean, which is the follow-up to The Belgariad (which I also re-read). There are gaping holes in the story, it's fairly predictable, and after awhile you notice that every single character (among the good guys at least) is using the same, sardonic sense of humor as everyone else. But for some reason, I love it. Re-reading it is like visiting old friends and familiar places. :) When I'm done with this I may re-read Lord of the Rings...

2) What do you hope for?
Right now, to put on a good show tomorrow night at the block party... and eventually, to find out what love is someday.

3) Where do you want to be in ten years?
I want to have been lots of places... I'd love to have been a travel director at some point (sort of like a tour guide on cruises and tours and stuff...) I want to have a better idea of the world out there, and I want to be satisfied with myself for what I've done.

4) What is your proudest accomplishment to date?
Making a career choice... although often I ask myself "Why am I doing this????" :)

5) What do you fear?
Besides bugs and spiders? :) I guess at times I fear change... and yet at the same time I fear that I will turn 30 and everything will have stayed exactly the same as it is now... I fear for my family and friends... I want them to be happy. And I fear that I do not do enough when they are not.

6) Strongest memories?
Hmmm. You mean memories that have lasted the longest? I'd have to say growing up in that house on Kingsford for the first 16 years of my life... I still remember tiny details from that basement that my dad finished himself, I remember my room, I remember the yard... I remember it so much and so often that it is very frequently the setting for my dreams at night. Actually last night I had another one.

That was fun! Although I feel a little exposed... :)

Taking Suggestions...

If you haven't noticed, I've been fairly scarce on this blog lately... I've been posting maybe once a week. I need to work on this. I want to keep this blog active but haven't really had the material or the inspiration. So what I want to ask of all of you, is: what would you like to see here? Is there something you've been meaning to ask me? Some story you wish me to share? Anything! I'm open to your ideas. So let's have 'em!!

Post-Show

Thanks for the good vibes, I think they worked! Last night was a total blast. We did better than I thought we would and then some. Hopefully we'll have more shows in the future. I really wasn't all that nervous; I just really enjoyed myself. Here's looking forward to our next performance!

Oh, and btw... the male singer they had hired didn't really work out, so for now, I'm back in the band. If that wasn't apparent already... :)

Then Again Maybe Not

It's probably too late for this, but the band is performing at House of Rock tomorrow night at 9:15, and yeah, I'm singing with them. Should be good times. I think I've already told just about everyone, but just in case there's anyone out there I might have missed who reads this... :) and if you can't make it, at least send me some good vibes; I will need them. I have not sung in front of people in awhile and I will be nervous.

I just don't have a single thing to WEAR!!!!!!!!!!!
